planning for the future
Reaching out to people can be difficult, especially when it comes to getting their thoughts on key issues that affect the community. That was one of the key challenges that faced us when we helped Castle Point Borough Council make contact with residents across the borough.
The Council needed to ensure that all residents were made aware of an upcoming consultation regarding the future of the borough, whilst also making sure the information was easy to read and well-presented. And, with a short turnaround to make sure it hit everyone’s doormats in less than a month, time was also of the essence.

By working closely with key members of staff within the Council, we were quickly able to get a good understanding of their needs and what they wanted the consultation document to achieve. We built upon the Council’s already strong branding to develop a brief 8-page magazine to illustrate the issues to residents, whilst simultaneously arranging ‘mailsort’ requirements to ensure it reached everyone on time.
Combined with a separate response form and bespoke envelopes, we were able to get the project completed on time, with nearly 39,000 residents and businesses receiving their information packs on time.
