
How an SLA can make life easier – and save you money...
So you have your branding in place, you have your adverts designed and your website is up and running – that’s everything sorted, right?
Actually, no. There’s still plenty of things to do and you have to be able to react to changes in the marketplace, your clients’ latest requirements and continued competition from your rivals.
But what can you do? All this is going to cost money and who knows where it will end!
Never fear, it’s not all gloom and doom and we have the perfect solution – it’ll keep you up-to-date but it won’t break the bank either...
THINK AHEAD AND SAVE MONEY
At STORM we offer all our regular clients the opportunity to sign up to an SLA – or Service Level Agreement. This basically gives you access to our services at a discounted price, enabling you to get vital work done at any time, just by picking up the phone.
This is how it works. When we complete a job for you – say a new website or advertising campaign – you can take out an SLA with us. This will typically give you access to 12 hours of work for the price of 10, which should last you at least one year in most instances.
So, not only do you get the peace of mind of knowing that the experts are looking after your business, but you get a great deal too!
CONTINUALLY CHANGING NEEDS
SLAs were originally designed for our clients with websites; to provide them with the means to keep their site up-to-date, or simply to refresh the existing content at set intervals (weekly, monthly or quarterly) for a reduced set fee.
As a full service agency and with our clients’ continually changing needs, our SLAs can now also be used for all aspects of their marketing mix. For example, if you want to maintain or develop your website once it’s live, you need a new series of adverts or you require some updated copy, then your SLA will cover this.
Basically, you can use your SLA hours in any way you choose, other than for paying for fixed costs and other essential services such as web hosting or advertising placement.
MANAGE YOUR BUSINESS’ DEVELOPMENT
Using a STORM SLA is easy. You simply need to brief your Account Handler at STORM on the job that needs completing – either by phone or by email. If on evaluating the proposed work, the Account Handler finds the job will take longer than 30 minutes, then you will be provided with an estimate of how long the job will take for your approval, before any work is undertaken.
For each job requested by you as part of the SLA, a minimum of 15 minutes from the overall SLA time allowance will be used. Once work has been completed, all hours are recorded in a spreadsheet, which can be forwarded to you on request. You’re always able to keep an eye on what you’re spending and where, making it even easier to manage your business’ ongoing development.
A LITTLE INVESTMENT
And, once you approach the final two hours of your SLA, we will endeavour to notify you, giving you the opportunity to review whether you wish to purchase another SLA.
Finally, any hours that have not been used within the initial 12 months after purchase will roll over to the following year. And, although STORM reserves the right to increase our hourly rate as business needs dictate, we will honour the hours in an SLA at the original rate at which they were purchased for one year, after which time, any rollover hours will be applied to subsequent years at the new hourly rate.
In essence, our SLAs give you the opportunity to keep your business – your brand – looking its best for years to come and at a very reasonable price too.
