King John Prospectus & DVD
As one of the highest-achieving schools in the south east, King John wanted to highlight its reputation in an appropriate manner.
In addition, any material produced had to connect with three very different audiences – potential pupils, their parents and teachers looking for their next school.
After extensive research, the most suitable media to communicate with all three groups were identified as publications and DVDs.
From this starting point, we developed King John’s existing literature into a fresher, funkier style, giving a modern twist to the salient information and making it a pleasure to read. In parallel, we also prepared a bright, refreshing DVD to be included in the ‘information pack’.
It was decided that both projects would be worked on simultaneously, allowing us to develop the content of both into a more cohesive vision of life at the school.
The DVD reflected the refreshing new approach of the ‘prospectus-magazine’, focusing on the experiences of those actually at the school and showing diversity in both activity and achievement.
With high production values employed across both areas of the project, the completed pack provides an informative and, more importantly, an interesting introduction to the school.
